Palakpakin Lake is one of the seven lakes of San Pablo City. The road passing along its northern shoreline gives various vantage points for one to admire the view. The best is on top of the bridge as Mount Banahaw provides a majestic backdrop. The lake is obviously utilized for livelihood with its numerous fishpens.

How to get there:

Option 1

From San Pablo City, proceed west in the direction of Manila, then turn right at the Junction to follow the provincial road going to Calauan. After about four kilometers from the Junction, turn right to the barangay road at Sitio Tikew, Brgy. San Marcos. Then follow this barangay road. After a little over 3.5 kilometers, there is a community. Turn left at the first noticeable road then turn right again at the next corner. Approximately 580 meters from this corner, there is the Palakpakin Bridge where there is a very nice view of Palakpakin Lake.

Option 2

From San Pablo City, proceed north-east to the road going to the direction of Nagcarlan. After about six kilometers, turn left to the barangay road at Brgy. Sto.Angel. Follow this barangay road which has a north-westerly direction. After about 2.6 kilometers, You will reach a vantage point with a view of Palakpakin Lake to your left. Palakpakin Bridge described in Option 1 above is a further 560 meters away from this vantage point.

Option 3

From San Pablo City Hall (known in the locality at Kapitolyo), proceed due north thru the road beside the Kapitolyo. Pass thru the barangays of San Lucas, San Pedro and Dolores. In the vicinity of San Buenaventura, find a T shaped road junction with a branch going to the right or east. Approximately 580 meters from this corner, there is the Palakpakin Bridge where there is a very nice view of Palakpakin Lake.
