When we heard about Kwebang Lampas and decided to take a look at it, we were simply expecting
to see this "nice" cave with sea water on its floor as the local folks described it.
We had no idea we were going to one of the most scenic beaches we have yet seen within
the mainland of Luzon. So, whether you are interested in caves and geological formations,
or you are an avid lover of white sand beaches, you are going to love this place.
How to go there
Going to Kwebang Lampas is basically the same as going to the Bilaran Sand Bar in Pagbilao Bay.
The only difference is you will tell the boatman to take you to Kwebang Lampas instead of
(or in addition to) Bilaran. Kwebang Lampas is an additional 4km of boat ride.
Fishing bancas from Bantigue average about 12 to 15km/hr so that should be an additional
15 to 20 minutes ride.
Pagbilao and its surrounding tourist spot potentials like this Kwebang Lampas is currently
being documented by Engr. Gerry Lontok who hails from Pagbilao.
You can learn more about Kwebang Lampas by visiting his Pagbilao Sceneries
We were informed that it is now possible to reach Kwebang Lampas by land. Though you
will need to walk the last several hundred meters to get to the beach. Detailed
info on how to get to Kwebang Lampas by land is available at Pagbilao Sceneries.
